ASHLEY FURNITURE HOMESTORE’S “$1,000 GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY” SWEEPSTAKES Official Rules

  1. ELIGIBILITY: Ashley Furniture HomeStore’s “$1,000 GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY” SWEEPSTAKES (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, and at least 18 in years of age at the time of entry. Florida and Georgia residents are eligible in the Ashley Furniture HomeStore showrooms, located at St. Johns Town Center, 4621 River City Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32246, and River City Marketplace, 13265 City Square Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Employees, officers, directors and agents of SFTF, LLC d/b/a Ashley Furniture HomeStore (“Ashley Furniture HomeStore” and “Sponsor”), and each of its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, “Releasees”), and the immediate families (spouse, parents, grandparents, siblings and children, and each of their spouses, regardless of where they live) and persons living in the households of each of these individuals, whether related or not, are ineligible to enter or win a prize. Void where prohibited by law. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
  2. SWEEPSTAKES DESCRIPTION: Between January 1st, 2010 and December 31st, 2010 (“Sweepstakes Period”), Ashley Furniture HomeStore will conduct one (1) separate sweepstakes every three (3) months. Each such sweepstakes will have its own entry period (each, an “Entry Period”) and at the conclusion of such Entry Period, one (1) potential winner (“Winner”) will be selected on a specified drawing date from among all eligible entries received at Ashley Furniture HomeStore for that Entry Period (each, an “In-Store Drawing”), for a total of four (4) Winners for Ashley Furniture HomeStore for the entire Sweepstakes Period. See the Ashley Furniture HomeStore’s in-store display for exact Entry Periods, entry deadlines and respective drawing dates and times. HomeStores are independently owned and operated. Entrants agree to have Sponsor contact them by phone, mail, email and/or other in connection with this sweepstakes and other Sponsor-related future offers.
  3. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, visit the Ashley Furniture HomeStore showrooms at either St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, FL, or River City Marketplace in Jacksonville, FL, and complete an official entry on one of the electronic kiosks located within the showrooms or, in the alternative, either complete an official entry form in its entirety, while supplies last, or hand-print your name, address, city, state, postal code, phone number (including area code), email address and date of birth on a 3” x 5” piece of paper, and submit completed entry form or 3” x 5” card in designated entry slot during regular showroom hours. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. local time on the final date of an Entry Period to be eligible for that Entry Period’s drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person/household/address per Entry Period. Mechanical reproductions will not be accepted. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
  4. SELECTION OF WINNERS: At or around the time posted on the specified drawing date for the applicable Entry Period, Ashley Furniture HomeStore will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period to select one (1) potential Winner. Entrants need not be present to win during the In-Store Drawing. Any potential Winner who is not in compliance with the terms of these Official Rules will be disqualified and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner will be selected for the drawing at issue. Odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for the drawing at issue. Non-winning entries from one In-store Drawing will not “roll over” into subsequent In-Store Drawings. Potential Winners will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, and unless prohibited, publicity release within fourteen (14) days of date of drawing. If a potential winner does not return the properly executed documents within the specified time period, is ineligible, or cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, he/she will be disqualified, the prize will be forfeited and, at the Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected for the drawing at issue.
  5. PRIZES: In-Store Drawing: US$1,000 Ashley Furniture HomeStore gift certificate. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): US$1,000. General Prize Restrictions: Total ARV of all prizes: US$4,000. Gift certificates are good for Ashley Furniture HomeStore merchandise only. Certain other restrictions may apply. Prizes are non-transferable or redeemable for cash. Except as otherwise specified herein, no substitution will be made on any prize except at the discretion of Sponsor who may substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of greater or comparable value, at its sole discretion. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. All federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes) and any cost and expenses related to the acceptance and use of a prize not specified herein are the responsibility solely of the Winner. All prize details are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
  6. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor and judges which are final and binding. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use each Winner’s name, city and state of residence and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. By entering, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Releasees from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising. In whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from or in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or the acceptance or use of the prize, including any travel or activity related thereto. Releasees shall not be responsible for lost, late illegible, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected , stolen, undelivered, delayed or damaged entries, or lost or stolen entry boxes nor for mechanical, technical, printing, typographical, human or other errors relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or amend this Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) at any time in whole or in part without notice if any factor interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Official Rules and, if terminated, Sponsor may, at its discretion, award prize for the drawing at issue from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received for that drawing prior to such date of termination.
  7.
